Fortunately, plastic surgery is not the only option for women who want to have firm breasts. There are certain exercises that can increase muscle tone, therefore improve the shape, appearance and firmness of their breasts. The costs and risks of expensive cosmetic surgery can be avoided by just doing some exercises in the privacy of your home or going to the gym.
Below you can find out more about three types of breast exercises: for enlargement, firming and lifting.
- If you want to have larger breasts
Women who wish their breast be larger are advised to do exercises that strengthen the muscles placed below the breasts. For example, there is an easy exercise that can lead to increased size and enhanced shape. In addition, it can be done at home and does not ask for special equipment. Lie flat on your stomach and stretch out your toes. Bend your elbows and place the palms of your hands flat on the floor, but in the same time slowly lift up the upper part of your body and make sure the palms are in the same line with your shoulders. Stay stretched for about 15 seconds, then relax. This enlargement exercise should be made 10 times per day till you achieve the expected results.
- If you want firmer breasts
Women are also not content about the fact that their breasts are not firm any more. There are many causes that lead to the lack of firmness including weight changes or breast feeding. This happens because the tissue of the breast has to constantly stretch. The right exercises for enhancing firmness are able to increase the muscle tone and tissue that surround the breasts. For example, an exercise to do at home is a modified push up. Lie flat on your stomach with your palms on the floor next to your upper arms. Then cross your ankles and bend your knees, but in the same time lift your upper body by pushing up onto your arms. Keep your head and body at the same level while lifting, but also try not to arch your back. Lower your body back to the floor in slow motion. Perform three sets of 10 repetitions per day. You can also take a short break in between the sets.
- If you want lifted up breasts
Another reason of dissatisfaction for women is the sagging of their breasts. Generally, sagging is the effect of weight loss/gain, aging or breast feeding. The key for having once again lifted and toned breasts is strengthening the muscles located beside and under the breasts. The following breast exercise can be performed anywhere, but a bath towel is required. Stand up straight holding a bath towel in front of you at both ends with your arms, but make sure you hold your arms firmly at the level of your shoulders. At each end of the towel, pull simultaneously in short, even tugs, so that you feel resistance from both ends. It is advisable to make daily three sets of one-minute intervals and not lower your arms during the exercise.
