Banana Diet

The banana diet is considered to be one of the easiest and most effective diets, that doesn’t require fitness and you can eat anything at lunch and dinner. With this diet you should consume every morning for breakfast one or two bananas, drink still water at room temperature, and you must have dinner not later than 8 p.m. Also, you should not go to bed later than midnight. On the rest of the day it does not matter what you eat, only limit the consumption of flour products and sweets and do not eat dairy products or drink alcohol. You are allowed to drink still water, warm or at room temperature. This banana diet is extremely simple and easy to follow, having as result fast weight loss.

How does the banana diet act? Bananas improve digestion and stimulate metabolism, contain fiber, blocks the absorption of carbohydrates and helps burn fats. Banana diet does not mean transforming your daily meals in the exclusive consumption of bananas, but eating light food in combination of one or more bananas. It seems that there are several versions of this diet, but you have to find the right one for you and your body. Bellow there is an example of banana diet for one day.

  • For breakfast: Start the day with one or two bananas (enough to fill you up) and drink a cup of warm water, but with small sips.
  • At lunch: You can eat everything you want at your choice, but stay away of dairy products and limit the consumption of sweets and flour products. You can eat soup, grilled chicken or fish, but not in excess.
  • In the afternoon: Around 3 p.m. you will have a snack. It can be something sweet, chocolate or cake or you can replace them with bananas. Ice cream, candies or chips are not recommended.
  • For dinner: You must have dinner before 8 p.m. and you can eat at your choice, but you cannot have desert. Instead of desert you can eat a banana.

During this diet sleep is an essential factor. Therefore, if you want to follow this diet, you must go to bed early in the evening, before midnight. In health news says that sleep is an important factor for health. In addition, remember not to eat before 8 p.m. Also, water should be consumed between meals, only when you are thirsty. Finally, the banana diet should be followed at least 14 days for best results.
